Parachute Songs

Here are three easy ways to use a parachute for singing/movement:

1. The Way We Wash (sing three times with different verse while kids sit in middle of parachute and adults hold outside along the edge.)

This is the way we wash our clothes,

Wash our clothes, Wash our clothes.

This is the way we wash our clothes,

Early in the morning.

Verses:

a) Wash our clothes - swing parachute side to side with children sitting in middle

b) dry our clothes - fan in and out

c) fold our clothes - fold in and out slowly (half time as dry)

3. Now's Your Turn to Run (sung to Row, row, row)

Up, up, up we go;

Down and down we come.
