Fingerplay: Good Morning Birds

Way up in the sky (look up)
The little birds fly (flap arms)
While down in the nest (cup hand like a nest)
The little birds rest (rest head on hand)
With a wing on the left ('flap' left arm then bring it behind)
And a wing on the right (same on right)
The little birds sleep (again rest head on hand)
All through the night 

Shhh! (whispered)

The bright sun comes up (hands up)
The moon goes away (wave bye bye)
Good morning! Good morning! (wave hello)
the little birds say.
